Our stainless inventory runs from 303 and 304/304L through 17-4 PH, A286, Nitronic-60, and Duplex. Age-hardenable grades are sought for aerospace and military work because they combine tensile strength, yield strength, and excellent stress corrosion cracking resistance in a single material. All grades are available in round, square, and hexagon bar shapes.

Inconel forms a stable, thick passivating oxide layer when heated, protecting the alloy surface from further attack. That protection is a property of the material, not a coating. High-temperature strength develops through precipitation hardening or solid solution strengthening. We stock Inconel 625 and Inconel X750 for gas turbine blades, combustors, turbocharger rotors, pump motor shafts, and high-temperature fasteners.
Inconel work-hardens rapidly after the first machining pass. Each subsequent pass cuts against a harder surface, which increases tooling wear and cycle time. Planning to minimize required passes before machining starts protects both your tooling and your timeline.
