304/304L Stainless steels are made from austenitic steels. This type of alloys has a minimum of 8% nickel and 18% of chromium. Like any other stainless steel grades, they are used exclusively for parts that require welding, machining, grinding, or polishing where good resistance to corrosion is necessary. These steel types are commonly used and found in pans and cooking tools. They have outstanding and high ease of fabrication. They also exhibit excellent resistance to corrosion.
Austenitic stainless steels like 304/304L stainless steels are considered to be the most weldable among high-alloy steels and they can be welded by resistance welding and fusion processes.
We offer our 304/304L steels products that have major applications that include kitchen benches, troughs, appliances, sinks, and equipment, automotive and aerospace structural use, chemical containers, architectural trim and molding, construction material in large buildings, heat exchangers, dyeing industry, nuts, screws, bolts, and fasteners in a marine environment, welded or woven screens for quarrying, mining, and water filtration.
